The site at Gloweth slopes and sits below the main A390 opposite Treliske Hospital. At the time of our first involvement with the site PPG3 was very much in vogue and the scheme reflects the drive for density and the creation of streetscene, i.e. that the dwellings and not front gardens or cars form the street frontage.
The key feature in this residential architecture scheme was a “village green” public open space.
