Bank House is a Grade II Listed Building and in its former life was a YMCA. At the point of sale, the building was in such a poor state that, had it not been listed, it would most probably have been demolished.
CAD were engaged as residential development architects. After long negotiations with the planning and conservation departments a scheme was conceived that required limited rebuilding of the external walls, a new roof structure, intermediate floors and separation into apartments.
Ultimately the scheme safeguarded and restored an imposing and historic building in a very busy part of Falmouth. The now current residential use will continue to protect this attractive building into the future.
