This site in the centre of Redruth previously contained an NHS Mental Health Unit. When CAD Architects became involved the site required redevelopment.
As residential development architects, CAD Architects worked with the then Kerrier District Council and conceived a scheme of 25 dwellings (houses) and a block of 36 sheltered apartments.
The site had a number of significant protected trees and adjoining development to consider.
The final scheme is a pleasant cul de sac of 25 contemporary two storey and split-level dwellings, finished in white render with slate roofs and black Cedral weatherboarding.
The road is a block paved shared surface with parking in front of each dwelling, alongside purpose designed cycle and bin stores.
