FALMOUTH POST OFFICE

 
The Post Office is a very particular building and one of a set of Post Office buildings commissioned by the GPO from a single architect. A similar building can be seen in Tavistock. The practice was asked to assist in the redevelopment and refurbishment of the building following the departure of the Post Office sorting office. The project involved the wholesale renovation of the building as well as the reconfiguration of the upper floors to create offices. Ultimately, a large part of the building became a dance studio. The ground floor was converted to restaurant and retail use.
