Planning Approval for a Split Level House in St Mawes

Oct 13, 2020

CAD Architects have achieved Planning Approval for a new split-level house in St Mawes. Architect Ross Edwards purposely designed the three bedroom house to work with the topography of the site; making a sensitive intervention within the existing landscape. The layout utilises the roof space of the building to reduce the visual impact of the proposed dwelling; whilst the dormer windows provide the upper rooms with far-reaching views of the estuary.

The proposal is a subdivision of an existing plot, with the house taking the place of an existing garage building. The principle of a new dwelling in this location presented a planning challenge – but one which CAD were able to overcome.

We are pleased with the design and look forward to seeing this project progress. Many thanks to our Clients and Consultants for helping us achieve this result.
